Sejroe M 84 1938
The strain was isolated in 1937 from the kidney of a house mouse (Mus musculus spicilegus) in Denmark and described as a new serovar named sejroe, reference strain M 84 (BorgPetersen,1938). The strain appeared for the first time in the list of 1954 (Wolff and Broom) in the Hebdomadis serogroup. The strain was submitted to factor analysis by Kmety (1977), who confirmed its separate serological status and placed it in subgroup Sejroe.
