Tunis P 2/65 1969

The strain was isolated in 1965 from the kidney of a pig in Tunis and described as anew serovar named tunis, ref. strain P 2/65, by Bakoss (1969). The new serovar was recognized by the TSC in 1986 and included in the Revised List of 1988 (Kmety & Dikken, 1988).
